Product Description
Burkert 078725 solenoid valve is a 2-port normally closed valve designed with a durable brass body and a 25 mm orifice. It operates at 230V AC supply voltage and is suitable for gas and liquid fluid handling applications. The valve is part of the 0290 series featuring servo-assisted diaphragm technology optimized for quiet, efficient operation.
This valve is uniquely constructed with a universal coupled diaphragm system and a damped design for noise reduction during closing. The integrated soft-kick function ensures gentle material handling during the opening process. It can open without differential pressure, supported by fixed coupling of the diaphragm to the plunger.
The Burkert 078725 valve supports a maximum operating pressure of 16 bar and handles fluids safely within an operating temperature range from 0°C to 55°C. The maximum opening and closing times are 250 milliseconds and 2000 milliseconds respectively, allowing for responsive flow control.
