Takachi Electric Industrial AWN16-9-18ESS Silver Aluminium Heat Sink Case is a heavy-duty enclosure designed to withstand tough outdoor industrial environments. It features a robust silver anodized extruded aluminium body with fins on either side, serving as a heat sink to efficiently dissipate thermal energy. The enclosure includes flanged metallic grey powder-coated diecast side plates, providing mechanical protection and facilitating wall mount installation.
The enclosure is IP67 rated, offering reliable protection against dust, water, and harsh conditions, making it ideal for industrial, automation, instrumentation, and outdoor lighting applications such as LED power supply housing, enclosed switches, industrial controllers, and industrial camera housings. The interior design accommodates PCBs or chassis which can be horizontally mounted by sliding into grooved inner frames. Integral card guides accept 1.6 mm thick PCBs for secure placement.
Operating temperature ranges from -40 to +105°C, ensuring reliable performance in varied climates. The enclosure also provides EMI shielding on selected models by leaving the interior of end panels unpainted. The product package includes 2 side plates, 1 body frame, 2 silicone gaskets, 8 stainless steel screws, and 4 rubber feet for stable placement.
