The Infineon TLE4972AE35D5XUMA1 is a high precision miniature coreless magnetic current sensor IC in a 16-pin PG-TDSO-16 package, optimized for accurate AC and DC current measurement in industrial, automotive, and power electronics applications.
This sensor features an analog interface combined with two fast over-current detection (OCD) output pins, facilitating real-time monitoring and swift fault detection in current circuits.
Its differential sensor principle ensures superior suppression of external magnetic stray fields, providing reliable measurements even in highly magnetically noisy environments. The device supports a full scale up to 31 mT magnetic flux density, making it suitable for high current applications.
The sensor maintains a very low sensitivity error and excellent offset stability across a wide temperature range (-40°C to 160°C) and long operational lifetime, crucial for automotive and industrial reliability standards.
With a bandwidth of 48.2 kHz, it delivers fast response times and low phase delay, supporting precise AC current waveform measurements. Dual OCD pins provide fast over-current alarms with typical response times around 0.7 microseconds.
The package's small form factor reduces insertion resistance and power dissipation, allowing compact design integration.
Compliant with AEC-Q100 automotive qualification and ISO 26262 functional safety standards, this sensor IC is suitable for automotive safety and control systems as well as demanding industrial environments.
High accurate current sensing for AC and DC applications. Low sensitivity error maintained over temperature and lifetime. Excellent offset stability across temperature and lifetime. High bandwidth of 48.2 kHz for fast response and low phase delay.
Differential sensor principle for superior stray magnetic field suppression. Two independent over-current detection outputs with about 0.7 μs response time. Full scale magnetic flux density up to 31 mT suitable for high current use cases.
Small form factor reduces insertion resistance and power loss. Operating temperature range from -40°C up to 160°C. Compliance with AEC-Q100 automotive standard and ISO 26262 functional safety requirements.
This sensor IC is ideal for industrial automation, automotive current monitoring, power management systems, and other precision current measurement applications requiring high accuracy, fast response, and rugged environmental tolerance.
