This connector utilizes insulation displacement contact (IDC) technology which enables convenient one-step assembly without the need for wire stripping, accepting stranded discrete wires from 18 to 26 AWG. The connector housing is manufactured from white nylon 6/6 UL94V-2 and includes molded ribs to prevent reverse mating, with locking ramps and polarization tabs enhancing connection security.
