Product Description
The Keithley 7706 Data Acquisition Coupler is an all-in-one I/O module designed for versatile measurement applications with the Keithley 2750, 2700, and 2701 Series systems. It integrates 20 channels of 2-pole analog input multiplexers or 10 channels of 4-pole multiplexers with built-in automatic cold junction compensation (CJC) sensors, enabling precise temperature measurements including RTD, thermistor, and thermocouple inputs.
Additional features include 16 digital output channels and 2 analog output channels that provide ±12V output with a 5mA current rating, suitable for driving external devices or signals within a 300V, 1A, 60W, and 125VA maximum electrical capacity. Onboard memory stores relay closure states, ensuring reliable operation during power interruptions or system resets.
An integrated event counter/totaliser extends system capabilities, allowing monitoring and control of external system components such as fixtures, limit switches, pass/fail indicators, external voltage sources, loads, door closures, and revolutions, enabling complex measurement automation tasks.
This coupler module is compatible with Keithley’s modular instruments 2700 (models 760-0354, 760-0357), 2701 (760-0351), and 2750 (760-0360), making it an ideal accessory for expanding measurement channel capacity and signal types.
