TE Connectivity 3-641215-6 MTA-100 Series Straight Through Hole Pin Header is designed for efficient mass termination of wires in a wire-to-board application using the well-established MTA-100 2.54 mm pitch connector system.
This unshrouded header includes 6 male contacts arranged in a single row with a pitch of 2.54 mm, providing reliable connectivity for PCB assemblies.
The housing material is glass filled polyester which offers mechanical strength and electrical insulation. The contacts utilize copper alloy and are plated with gold to ensure excellent conductivity and long-term corrosion resistance.
The pins have a tail length of 3.56 mm terminated by soldering, suitable for through hole PCB mounting to provide sturdy connections. The header supports up to 5 amperes of current and a voltage rating of 250 volts, operating reliably between -65°C and 105°C.
