It operates at a maximum supply voltage of 5.5V and minimum 2.7V, featuring a 20-pin OFN surface mount package with compact dimensions (4.05 mm length and 800 μm height).
This device is engineered to safely comply with USB-C Power Delivery specifications, incorporating discharge on VBUS and VCONN, VBUS current sense amplifier with analog output, and ESD protections compliant with IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4 (±8 kV contact discharge, ±15 kV air discharge).
Additional protections include VCONN over current protection (100 mW max), over voltage protection (6 V max), over voltage protection on CC lines against short-to-VBUS, and over temperature protection with a typical threshold of 150 °C.
The TCPP03-M20 supports I2C communication with two available addresses, enabling seamless integration in USB Type C solutions. Dead battery management is integrated to enhance USB power delivery robustness.
