This shrouded female connector provides a 10-contact configuration and is optimized for cable mount with right angle orientation for space-saving installation.
The connector contacts are pre-loaded, dual beam slotted IDC contacts that eliminate wire stripping, enabling one-step assembly. Contacts are plated with tin over nickel to ensure protection against fretting corrosion and durability over extensive usage.
The housing material is nylon, incorporating moulded ribs to prevent reverse mating and utilizing a friction lock mechanism that guarantees secure mating connections. Variants with polarizing tabs can also be used for additional alignment security.
