The diode is rated for a maximum continuous forward current of 8 amperes and supports a peak reverse repetitive voltage of 600 volts, providing dependable operation in high voltage circuits. Its epoxy molded TO-220 package is corrosion resistant and designed for easy lead soldering, with a maximum lead temperature of 260°C for 10 seconds during soldering operations.
