Electromen OY 10V-35V DC, 15A DC Motor Controller with Potentiometer Function EM-241A

Electromen OY EM-241A DC Motor Controller is a full bridge starter designed for DC motor applications that require specialized functions. It operates within a supply voltage of 10 to 35 V DC and supports continuous currents up to 15A, with peak currents up to 25-30A. The controller allows for smooth operation through adjustable acceleration and deceleration ramps, minimizing mechanical stress during start and stop phases.

The device integrates a potentiometer function for variable speed control and includes features such as adjustable current limits to protect the motor from overcurrent scenarios, which can also be configured as end-stop limits.

Control inputs include forward (FW) and backward (BW) run commands, stop input for motor shutdown, and individual limit inputs for FW and BW directions. There are two programmable speed settings useful for positioning applications, with SPEED-2 input capable of receiving an analog speed control signal of 0-5V. Additionally, stop input can be set to function as a current limit setting.

The controller supports two selectable control modes: continuous mode for sustained motor operation while control inputs are active, and impulse mode where short commands start the motor, changing status only with new impulses. Special features include start-kick, auto-reverse, and configurable input logics for control and limit inputs.

Parameters can be configured via three options: EM-236 interface unit, EM-268 with Menthol-Lite PC software, or EM-326 smartphone application (Menthol-App).
