The Glenair GMSM2-6SSB is a high-quality Micro-D 6 way female D-Sub connector featuring a straight through hole design and aluminium housing. This connector is manufactured in accordance with the MIL-DTL-83513 specification, offering excellent performance, durability, and temperature resistance while occupying less space than standard two-row Micro-D connectors.

The connector shell is nickel plated and machined from aluminium to provide mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. The housing is fully potted with epoxy for enhanced reliability in harsh environments. The connector contacts are gold plated twistpin style, rated for 3 Amps each, providing superior conductivity and resistance to wear. The connector's dielectric withstand voltage ratings are 600 Vac at sea level and 150 Vac at high altitudes (up to 70,000 ft), meeting stringent aerospace and military requirements.
