Glenair MWDM2L-31S-6E5-18B Cable D-Sub Connector Male/Female from the MWDM series is a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) micro-D plug and socket connector designed for high reliability and performance in extreme environments. This product features 100 contacts arranged in a high-density .050 inch pitch configuration, rated for 3 Amps of current, and terminated with pre-wired 26 AWG pigtail wires of 450mm (18 inches) length with color-coded insulation for easy identification.
The connectors use gold-plated TwistPin contacts made of beryllium copper alloy, providing low contact resistance and excellent durability with robust wire attachment and gas-tight crimp sleeves. These micro-D connectors have aluminium housings with nickel plating and liquid crystal polymer (LCP) insulators, enabling operation in temperatures from -55°C up to 150°C, making them suitable for harsh commercial and military environments.
