Product Description
Broadcom HCPL-0611-500E optocoupler is a surface mount electronic component designed for signal isolation and switching in industrial, automotive, and electronic applications. This device integrates a GaAsP light emitting diode with a high gain photodetector, enabling optical coupling with high-speed operation up to 10 MBd. It features an enable input that allows strobed operation of the photodetector, and provides an open collector output transistor with Schottky clamp for improved switching performance.
The optocoupler achieves a guaranteed common mode transient immunity of 10 kV/µs, ensuring robust operation in noisy environments. It provides an isolation voltage of 3750 Vrms, allowing safe electrical separation between input and output circuits. The device supports a maximum forward input voltage of 1.8 V and an input current capability of 20 mA with low input current operation down to 5 mA.
