Souriau Sunbank by Eaton 8D521W41SN is a MIL Spec Circular Connector featuring a copper alloy construction with a straight orientation and cable mounting type. This rugged connector series complies with MIL-DTL-38999, series III specifications, designed for demanding environments including military, aerospace, marine, offshore, and industrial sectors.
The connector comprises 41 female contacts rated for 7.5A current and a male connector shell size 21 constructed from aluminium with cadmium plating. Contacts are gold over nickel plated copper alloy ensuring excellent electrical performance and corrosion resistance. Termination is by crimping, supporting reliable cable connections.
This 8D series connector includes a quick-action screw coupling that prevents accidental unscrewing and offers 100% scoop proof protection. Exceptional RFI and EMI shielding is provided by the connector’s shell-to-shell continuity and 360° RF shielding.
