Product Description
The Eaton MTL5541/RS is a Zener Barrier galvanic isolator module from the MTL5500 Series, intended for use in hazardous industrial areas requiring intrinsic safety.
It operates over a supply voltage range of 20 to 35 V DC and can safely handle a maximum safety current of 93mA. The device is designed to provide a fully-floating DC supply to conventional transmitters located in hazardous zones and repeats the current to drive loads in safe areas, thereby preventing sparking and overheating risks.
