The Vishay IL300-X007 is an advanced AC/DC input linear optocoupler featuring a surface mount 8-pin SMD package. It utilizes an AlGaAs infrared emitter coupled with an output PIN photodiode and an additional feedback photodiode. The feedback photodiode captures a fraction of the emitter's light flux to generate a control signal, enabling precise regulation of the emitter output by adjusting the forward current.
