STMicroelectronics SMA6F6.5A is a 1-element uni-directional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode designed for protection of sensitive electronic circuits against high-energy transient voltage surges. Delivering a peak pulse power dissipation of 600 W with an 8/20 μs and 10/1000 μs waveforms, it is ideal for safeguarding devices from damaging voltage spikes in various industrial and commercial applications.

Featuring a single diode element in a uni-directional configuration, the device provides highly effective clamping with a voltage rating that supports a minimum breakdown voltage of 7.2 V and a maximum reverse stand-off voltage of 6.5 V. The clamping voltage of 14.5 V further controls voltage spikes to safe levels.
