Product Description
Infineon 1EDN7146GXTMA1 is a highly efficient MOSFET Gate Driver designed to provide 500 mA output current in a compact 11-pin PG-VSON-10 package. Operating at a supply voltage of 11V, this driver is optimized for driving CoolGaN™ HEMTs as well as other Schottky Gate GaN HEMTs and Silicon MOSFETs.
The driver features a truly differential input (TDI) which allows the output state to be controlled solely by the voltage difference between inputs, independent of the driver's reference ground potential, as long as common-mode voltage remains below 150V static and 200V dynamic. This design eliminates false triggering due to ground bounce in low-side applications and supports high-side operation without risk.
The device is equipped with an active Miller clamp providing a 5 A sink current capability to prevent induced turn-on phenomena, and an adjustable charge pump for negative turn-off voltage supply, ensuring precise switching control. Compatibility with 3.3 V or 5 V input logic levels increases flexibility for integration.
With a fall time of 11 ns, it supports fast switching semiconductor applications, while its operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C accommodates demanding industrial environments. The compact PG-VSON-10 package aids in reducing PCB footprint, making it suitable for high-density applications.
