EnOcean RF Module Transmitter ASK 902.875 MHz PTM210

EnOcean PTM210 RF Module transmitter PTM210 operates at 902.875 MHz frequency using ASK modulation technique with a maximum RF data rate of 125kbps and output power of 5dBm. This compact transmitter module measures 40 x 40 x 11.2 mm and fits seamlessly into wireless remote control devices and IoT sensing solutions, providing a batteryless wireless communication approach.

The module includes an integral electro-dynamic power generator (energy harvester) that produces electrical energy when the energy bow is pressed, enabling maintenance-free operation without batteries. The transmitter sends RF telegrams containing a unique 32-bit module ID and status information for up to four contact nipples, supporting versatile control and feedback scenarios.

Its durable construction operates reliably within a temperature range of -25°C to +65°C and complies with EN 60669 and VDE 0632 standards. The device supports two channels with four action states each, suitable for wall-mounted flat rocker switches with one or two rockers, handheld remote controls with up to four single pushbuttons, and switch sensing for Internet of Things (IoT) applications.

The transmission range spans up to 300 meters in free field conditions and approximately 30 meters indoors, making it well-suited for industrial, commercial building automation, and residential remote control use cases. Supported EnOcean Equipment Profiles include EEP F6-02-xx and F6-04-xx, enabling compatibility with a broad range of EnOcean ecosystem devices.

This module eliminates the need for wired connections and batteries through energy harvesting technology. Typical energy bow travel is 1.8 mm with an operating force of 8 N at room temperature. The module withstands a typical lifetime of 100,000 actuations as tested according to EN 60669 / VDE 0632.

Integral PCB antenna ensures reliable signal transmission without external components. Ideal for building automation and remote switch applications requiring maintenance-free wireless control.
