Souriau Sunbank by Eaton 8STA00898SA Circular Connector is a robust, panel mount socket with 3 female contacts, designed to operate at 1000V and 7.5A current rating. The connector features an aluminium alloy housing with conductive black zinc plating, ensuring excellent resistance to corrosion and harsh environmental conditions. It has a bayonet style quick mating system providing secure and fast connections with an audible click in a 1/3 turn.

This connector series is derived from MIL-DTL-38999 standards and primarily developed for motorsport applications including Formula 1, Moto GP, WRC, Nascar, and others. It is also suitable for military-grade applications such as UAVs, ground vehicles, and infantry interconnections where durability, weight, and size are critical factors.

The circular connector is rated IP67, ensuring protection against dust ingress and immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. Its contacts are gold plated copper alloy, providing reliable conductivity and preventing corrosion.
