Product Description
ADAFRUIT INDUSTRIES 2795 Feather 32u4 Adalogger MCU Development Board is a new, fully assembled microcontroller development board designed for compact and portable embedded system projects. Powered by the Atmel ATmega32u4 microcontroller operating at 8 MHz and 3.3 V logic, it offers 32 KB flash memory and 2 KB RAM along with built-in USB communication capabilities. The inclusion of an integrated micro-SD card slot allows data logging with a green LED indicator on pin #8 to show read/write status.
This development board supports hardware serial, I²C, and SPI protocols with 20 GPIO pins, 8 PWM output pins, and 10 analog inputs, one dedicated to measuring the battery voltage. It also features a 100 mA lithium polymer battery charger with a status LED, enabling seamless power management for portable applications. A red LED on pin #13, power/enable pin, reset button, and mounting holes provide enhanced usability in prototyping environments.
The compact size of 51 mm length, 23 mm breadth, and 8 mm height, combined with lightweight construction at under 5 grams, makes it ideal for embedded, educational, IoT, sensor interfacing, and DIY electronics projects in industrial, laboratory, academic, and maker communities.
