Product Description

ADAFRUIT INDUSTRIES 2478 is a 2.4 inch TFT LCD resistive touch screen display module featuring the widely used ILI9341 controller. Designed for embedded system developers, it provides a vibrant 240 x 320 pixel display with individual RGB control for high-quality color rendering.

The display includes a 4-wire resistive touchscreen supporting precise finger press detection. It is illuminated by 4 bright white LEDs with transistor-connected PWM dimming for backlight control, ensuring optimal visibility under varying lighting conditions.

The module offers two operation modes: an 8-bit parallel interface requiring 8 data lines and 4 - 5 control lines, and an SPI interface using only 5 pins for a simplified connection at the cost of slower data throughput.
