ADAFRUIT INDUSTRIES 1386 Camera Module is a tiny TTL serial JPEG camera module designed primarily for security, data logging, and photography projects. It outputs NTSC color video and transmits pre-compressed JPEG images via a TTL serial link, reducing file sizes for efficient storage.

The camera offers selectable image resolutions of VGA (640x480), QVGA (320x240), and QQVGA (160x120) pixels. It features automatic white balance, brightness, exposure, and gain for optimal image quality under varying conditions. The lens is manually adjustable with a focal range of 1 to 15 meters, suitable for most surveillance applications.

This module supports motion detection, enabling image capture when changes occur within the video frame, enhancing its utility for security systems.
