Product Description
ADAFRUIT INDUSTRIES 2329 is a 5V White Flexible DotStar Digital LED Strip, 500 mm in length, designed for advanced lighting and display systems.
Each strip integrates 72 5050-sized LEDs with embedded microcontroller chips enabling 24-bit colour control across red, green, and blue channels, resulting in vivid white light output.
Constructed from a durable flexible PCB material with weatherproof sheathing, this strip can be cut after every LED or daisy-chained for extended installations. The LEDs feature a 20 kHz PWM rate to provide high refresh rates with minimal flicker, making them highly suitable for Persistence-of-Vision (POV) applications.
The 4-pin JST SM connector offers two data wires (clock and data) allowing precise SPI control from various microcontrollers or processors including Arduino, Raspberry Pi, BeagleBone, and others.
Built-in microcontroller per LED ensures smooth color blending and high refresh rates. Flexible and easily cuttable design offers customizable lengths up to desired size. Operates safely at 5V DC, preventing damage caused by voltages above 6V.
