Product Description
RS PRO 183-1561 is a 16 way vertical DIL (Dual Inline) socket with a 2.54 mm pitch designed for through hole mounting. This closed frame socket features turned pins and is constructed to offer precise and reliable connections for electronic components and ICs in various industrial applications.
The socket incorporates solid precision turned sleeves with a closed bottom design which effectively prevents solder wicking and flux intrusion during soldering, enhancing reliability on circuit boards.
