Microchip USB3300-EZK-TR USB Transceiver is a high-speed, industrial temperature USB Physical Layer Transceiver designed for seamless integration with ULPI compliant link layer devices. It supports USB 2.0 specification with a 3.3-volt power supply and features a surface-mount 32-pin QFN package ideal for compact applications.

This transceiver integrates advanced ESD protection rated at ±8kV Human Body Model, ensuring durability and reliability in demanding electronic environments. Operating temperature ranges from -40°C to 85°C enable stable performance in industrial-grade settings.

The USB3300 utilizes an innovative ULPI interface that reduces the traditional UTMI+ 54-pin interface down to just 12 pins, minimizing PCB complexity and supporting low latency data transmission. This design was conceived without UTMI to ULPI wrappers, providing a direct and efficient communication path between PHY and link layers.

The device supports the On-The-Go (OTG) protocol including Host Negotiation Protocol (HNP) and Session Request Protocol (SRP), enabling dynamic role switching in USB applications. Internal 1.8-volt regulators allow operation from a single 3.3-volt power supply, simplifying design requirements.
