Product Description
The STMicroelectronics X-NUCLEO-CCA01M1 Sound Terminal Expansion Board is designed to provide high-quality digital audio amplification for embedded audio applications. It incorporates the STA350BW digital audio amplifier chip featuring an all-digital amplification stage with FFX™ technology, delivering two 50W stereo PWM outputs into 6Ω speakers. This enables compact, efficient sound solutions for professional and industrial environments.
The board supports audio input via a serial I2S bus and control via serial I2C, allowing easy integration with STM32 Nucleo-64 development boards. It features an Arduino v3 shield connector for compatibility with multiple board connections and ST morpho connectors for upward and downward interfacing options.
Output stage power supply is provided through a separate connector supporting voltages from +5 Vdc up to +25 Vdc. The included screw terminals facilitate secure and convenient loudspeaker connectivity. On-board output filters with ESD protection ensure robust signal integrity and device protection.
With an impressive 100dB signal-to-noise ratio and dynamic range, the X-NUCLEO-CCA01M1 is suitable for various industrial, embedded system, and audio development applications requiring quality stereo sound output with compact footprint.
