MikroElektronika MIKROE-1296 4-20mA T Click Add On Board is a signal conversion development tool that serves as an add-on board compatible with mikroBUS™ interfaces, featuring high accuracy and industrial-grade components for current loop applications.
This board utilizes the ADu M1411 quad-channel digital isolator which ensures signal isolation and integrity for sensitive industrial environments. Its MCP4921 12-bit DAC provides precise digital-to-analog conversion required for control signal processing.
The XTR116 4-20 mA current loop transmitter integrated into the board allows it to set the output loop current according to input digital signals received via the SPI interface. When paired with the 4-20 mA R Click board, it completes the 4-20 mA current loop standard widely used in industrial process control and test design systems.
The board’s adherence to the mikroBUS™ pinout standard makes it highly compatible with numerous microcontroller boards and development platforms, enabling seamless integration in embedded systems.
Additional features include header strips that come pre-soldered, simplifying installation and setup processes for developers and engineers.
