Product Description

The RIGOL DS70000 Series Digital Oscilloscope, available in DS70304 and DS70504 models, is a high-performance real-time oscilloscope designed for high-speed digital design, RF testing, semiconductor validation, communication-system development, automotive electronics, and advanced laboratory research. Built on RIGOL’s UltraVision III architecture, it combines high bandwidth, fast sampling, deep memory, and hardware-accelerated waveform analysis.

The RIGOL DS70304 provides 3 GHz analogue bandwidth, while the RIGOL DS70504 extends the bandwidth to 5 GHz. Both models offer four analogue channels, an external trigger input, and a maximum real-time sampling rate of 20 GSa/s, enabling detailed capture of high-speed signals, short transients, timing errors, and complex waveform behaviour.

The DS70000 Series includes 500 Mpts of standard memory, expandable to a maximum memory depth of 2 Gpts. This deep acquisition memory allows engineers to record long signal sequences while maintaining a high sampling rate, making it easier to locate intermittent faults and examine individual events in detail.

The high-resolution acquisition system provides selectable vertical resolution from 9 to 16 bits, helping reveal small signal details and reduce acquisition noise. Hardware-accelerated FFT processing delivers up to 10,000 FFTs per second, providing a responsive spectrum-analysis experience for frequency-domain troubleshooting.

Advanced triggering and protocol-decoding capabilities support embedded-system and automotive-electronics development. Depending on the installed options, engineers can analyse communication interfaces such as RS232/UART, I²C, SPI, CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and USB, helping locate protocol errors alongside their related analogue signal behaviour.

The large 15.6-inch auto-tilt touchscreen provides clear visualisation of waveforms, decoded buses, measurements, spectra, eye diagrams, and analysis results.
