The Hanna FC911B PVDF Body Double Junction pH Electrode is expertly designed for accurate and reliable pH measurement in challenging food samples such as creams, fruit juices, dairy products, sauces, and other viscous or semi-solid materials. Constructed with a durable PVDF body, this electrode offers excellent chemical resistance and long service life, making it ideal for routine use in demanding food industry and laboratory environments.
Equipped with a double junction Ag/AgCl reference system and a refillable 3.5M KCl electrolyte, the electrode ensures enhanced stability and minimizes contamination risks from proteins, fats, and organic compounds commonly found in food samples. This design significantly reduces electrode poisoning and extends operational life. The spherical glass sensing bulb (7.5 mm diameter), combined with a ceramic junction and controlled low flow rate (15–20 μL/h), delivers precise and consistent readings even in thick or complex sample matrices.
The electrode is fitted with a standard BNC connector and a 1 m coaxial cable, allowing seamless compatibility with most laboratory pH meters. Its wide operating temperature range of -5 to 80°C makes it suitable for both cold storage samples and elevated temperature testing conditions. With a maximum pressure rating of 0.1 bar, it is well-suited for open vessel and low-pressure applications.
