Infineon S25FL128SAGNFV000 is a high-performance NOR Flash memory device providing 128MB storage capacity with a flexible CFI SPI interface. It is supplied in an 8-pin WSON package with compact dimensions of 6mm in length, 8mm in width, and 750μm height, designed for surface mount applications. This memory chip supports traditional SPI single-bit input/output (SIO) as well as advanced Dual I/O (DIO), Quad I/O (QIO), and DDR read commands, offering high-speed data transfer at a maximum clock frequency of 133MHz.
The device features the Eclipse architecture including a page programming buffer that allows efficient programming of up to 256 or 512 bytes per operation, enhancing write and erase performance compared to previous SPI memory devices. It supports Execute-In-Place (XIP) technology, enabling code to be executed directly from flash memory which is particularly useful for embedded systems requiring fast instruction fetch rates with fewer signal lines.
