Product Description
Schneider Electric NSYS3DEX7525 PanelSeT S3DEX Series Steel Wall Box is a robust IP66-rated steel enclosure designed for electrical and control panel installations in harsh environments. It features ATEX hazardous area certification, making it suitable for locations where explosive atmospheres involving gas, vapours, and dust may occur according to ATEX directive 94/9/EC.
The enclosure dimensions are 700 mm height, 500 mm width, and 250 mm depth, with a one-piece folded and welded steel body finished with a grey epoxy-polyester powder coating (RAL 7035) for corrosion resistance and durability. The front profile has a gutter shaped double sheet thickness for enhanced mechanical strength.
A single reversible door opens 120° and secures with a 3-point double-bar lock system. The enclosure does not include mounting or gland plates but comes supplied with a gland plate and fixing kit for wall mounting applications. Its design accommodates panel internal mounting and is suitable for use alongside other ATEX certified electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
The product meets various standards including RoHS, UL, BV, REACH, IEC 62208, LR, DNV and cUL. It features an IK10 mechanical impact rating, providing resistance to impacts equivalent to a 5 kg object dropped from 20 cm.
