Smartscan 1K3-098 Light Curtain Receiver and Sender is a Type 2 safety device designed for precise hand protection in various industrial applications. Operating at 24V DC and equipped with 6 beams with 30 mm resolution, this light curtain ensures reliable safety integration in automated warehouses, robotic assembly lines, packaging machinery, injection molding, textile machines, electronic component assemblies, bottling, and filling equipment.

The device features a waterproof enclosure offering robustness in harsh environments and includes both transmitter and receiver units along with two 5-meter connecting cables facilitating straightforward installation and alignment. The curtain provides a protective height of 180 mm and can cover a maximum protective width of 5 meters with an operating scanning range between 0.5 and 5 meters.
