Product Description

Carlo Gavazzi VC5510NNOPT is a capacitance level sensor from the CLP series featuring a chassis mount design and housing made of polycarbonate and ABS materials. This sensor operates with a voltage supply range of 5 to 30 Vdc and is ideal for detecting levels with a sensing range adjustable from 2 to 10 mm using a single-turn potentiometer.

The device is equipped with LED indication to signal when the sensor is activated, and it provides an output current through a DC 100mA transistor, enabling integration into various industrial control systems. It has a low no-load current of ≤10mA, which enhances energy efficiency during operation.

Designed for robust industrial environments, the housing features grey ABS and polycarbonate construction with ingress protection rating IP65, protecting it against dust and water jets. The sensor includes a 1.5 m PVC cable (3 x 0.3 mm²) for straightforward installation and wiring.

The operating temperature range from 0°C to 50°C suits applications requiring stable performance under normal ambient conditions. Power ON delay options provide flexibility with either a maximum 40 ms delay or a maximum 5-second ON/OFF delay version to match different control requirements.
