KEMET USEQFSEA391180 Environmental Sensor is designed for Industrial IoT, transport, smart home, and smart building applications, providing accurate flame detection and environmental sensing capabilities with a compact surface mount package. It operates at a supply voltage range of 1.75 to 3.6 volts and is built to withstand operating temperatures from -40°C to 85°C.

The sensor integrates a high sensitivity pyroelectric element with digital current mode read-out, offering excellent responsivity over flame flicker frequencies ranging from 3 to 30 Hz. Its fast 120-second response time guarantees timely detection of small and large flames across various distances.

Communication is simplified through an industry-standard I2C interface, enabling plug-and-play connectivity with numerous microcontrollers. Programmable gain and filtering provide designers with maximum flexibility in tuning the sensor's performance to specific applications.
