KEMET USEQFSEA464180 Environmental Sensor for Smart Building, Transport, Smart Home, and Industrial IoT applications provides precise and fast detection of flames through its pyroelectric sensing technology. It combines high sensitivity with a fast response time of 120 seconds, allowing rapid and accurate flame detection even at varying distances.

This sensor operates on a low supply voltage ranging from 1.75V to 3.6V and is housed in a small surface mount package measuring 5.6mm long, 3.7mm wide, and 1.55mm high, weighing only 70mg. Built for durability, it functions reliably within a wide temperature range from -40°C to 85°C, suitable for demanding industrial environments.

The integrated digital current mode read-out delivers high responsivity over the flame flicker frequency range of 3 to 30 Hz, using standard I2C communication for easy integration with various microcontrollers. Programmable gain and filtering enhance design flexibility, while multiple optical filter options allow customization according to application requirements.
