The KEMET OHD3-105M SPST Through Hole Reed Switch is engineered for reliable switching in electrical, automation, and industrial applications. Rated for a maximum switching current of 300 mA and voltage up to 110 V AC/DC, this reed switch offers high operational life with excellent environmental durability.
Its unique design incorporates a nickel iron alloy contact material and features tab lead terminals for secure through hole PCB mounting. The switch maintains low contact resistance of 150 milliohms, ensuring minimal power loss during operation.
Operating effectively between -20°C and 150°C, the OHD3-105M is part of the OHD Thermal Guard series. This series uses a proprietary material called Thermorite® whose magnetic flux density decreases with increasing temperature, providing thermal protection by precise switching at critical temperatures.
This reed switch is ideal for atmospheric temperature detection and overheating monitoring of components such as power transistors, power modules, room heaters, hot gas heaters, PPCs, amplifiers, motors, hard disk drives (HDDs), floppy disk drives (FDDs), and other general electrical appliances.
