Hirose FX30B Series Straight Through Hole PCB Header is a high-performance board-to-board connector featuring a 3.81 mm pitch and 4 contacts in a single row. This shrouded male PCB header integrates a unique floating contact structure designed to absorb mounting misalignment errors, offering safe and accurate mating with a degree of play in the XY and Z directions. The floating contacts self-centre, prevent solder cracking, and eliminate the need for costly rework.

Equipped with large mating guides and molded alignment posts, the FX30B header allows ±1.3 mm movement in XY directions, making connector insertion easier and preventing reverse insertion errors through additional keyed features. Robust metal fittings on either side protect the PCB from deformation during assembly or operation.

The contacts are manufactured from copper alloy and plated with gold, providing a multi-point contact system that ensures high electrical reliability. Each contact can carry currents between 13 and 17A, supporting demanding industrial and commercial applications such as broadcast equipment, base station transceivers, measuring instruments, and medical devices.
