Product Description

The BK Precision PVS10005 is a programmable digital bench power supply designed to deliver high power and versatility for laboratory, industrial, R&D, and production testing needs. This model is engineered with a compact high-density 2U package, featuring a single DC output capable of providing up to 1000V and 5A, for a maximum output power of 5 kW. Its clean power delivery and exceptional regulation make it suitable for critical applications, including motor inverter testing and high-voltage laboratory projects.

The PVS10005 is equipped with a vibrant VFD display offering high-resolution voltage and current measurements, with increments as fine as 100 mV and 0.1 mA. The power supply supports rapid transient responses (≤ 0.5 ms) and allows users to adjust voltage and current slopes for precise testing.

This advanced Bench Power Supply incorporates a solar array simulator (SAS) function, capable of generating photovoltaic I-V curves, storing up to 16 unique curves with detailed Voc, Isc, Vmp, and Imp parameters. The list mode functionality allows programming of up to 9 custom programs, each with 100 programmable steps, enabling complex and automated sequences for test routines.

Connectivity is robust, with standard digital remote interfaces including USB (virtual COM), RS232, GPIB, and LAN (Ethernet), all supporting SCPI commands.
