The connector body is uninsulated, crafted from phosphor bronze material with a tin plating to ensure high conductivity, corrosion resistance, and mechanical durability.

This connector provides a two-step positive locking mechanism, including a secondary lock for complete and secure insertion into housings, thereby enhancing the reliability of electrical connections especially in harsh automotive and industrial environments.
