STMicroelectronics P-L496G-CELL02 is a turnkey discovery pack designed as a communication and wireless development tool for LTE IoT cellular to cloud applications supporting NB-IoT, LTE CAT M1, and EGPRS technologies. It comprises a low-power STM32L496AGI6-based discovery motherboard preloaded with firmware and an STMod+ cellular expansion board with antenna operating at 2100 MHz frequency.
This development pack features a high-performance STM32L496AGI6 microcontroller with 1 Mbyte of Flash memory and 320 Kbytes of RAM integrated in a UFBGA169 package, optimized for low-power applications. The USB OTG HS interface facilitates high speed data transfer, while the integrated SAI Audio CODEC and ST-MEMS digital microphones support audio input capabilities.
The pack also includes 8-Mbit PSRAM for additional memory requirements, dual user LEDs for status indication, as well as one user and one reset push-button for control and user interaction. On-board current measurement enables efficient power management and optimization.
