Switchcraft EN3C8FX cable mount circular connector is a premium industrial connector featuring 8 female contacts in a socket configuration designed to meet robust industrial requirements. It features a standard size housing made of thermoplastic, gold over nickel plated copper contacts, and provides a current rating of 6.5A at 600V. This connector series offers bayonet mating type and straight orientation suitable for cable mounting with solder termination.
The connector meets IP68 and IP69K ingress protection standards, making it highly resistant to water and dust ingress, suitable for harsh environments such as process control, marine, medical instrumentation, industrial electronics, transportation, and similar demanding conditions.
Operating reliably within a temperature range of -40°C to 65°C, it incorporates an integral O-ring and gasket design that ensures excellent sealing and weather-tightness with a low part count. The product further includes a snap-in strain relief mechanism for secure cable mounting accommodating cables up to 6.7mm diameter, enhancing the mechanical security and longevity of the connection.
