It includes an 80MHz STM32L476JG Cortex M4F low-power microcontroller unit with 1MB Flash memory and 128KB RAM, ideal for efficient embedded processing.

The SensorTile module incorporates the LSM6DSM iNEMO inertial module providing 3D accelerometer and 3D gyroscope functionality, along with the LSM303AGR eCompass module offering 3D accelerometer and 3D magnetometer sensing. Environmental monitoring is enhanced by the LPS22HB MEMS digital barometer, which measures absolute pressure from 260 to 1260 hPa.

The device features an MP34DT04 MEMS digital microphone delivering a 64 dB signal-to-noise ratio for acoustic detection. Wireless connectivity is enabled by the BlueNRG-MS Bluetooth 4.1 network processor and BALF-NRG-01D3 50Ω balun with an integrated harmonic filter and chip antenna. The board supports firmware programming and debugging through a SWD interface.
