Red Lion LMPC0000 Magnetic Pick Up is a high-sensitivity sensor designed for detecting moving ferrous targets in industrial applications. It features a robust stainless steel barrel-style body housing with a maximum supply voltage rating of 30V DC, suitable for reliable operation in demanding environments.

Incorporating advanced Logic Magnetic Pickup technology, this device includes a high-gain pre-amplifier and signal processing circuit integrated inside the magnetic pick up housing. This design allows for larger air gaps and accommodates slower target surface speeds, greatly enhancing its application versatility compared to conventional magnetic pickups.

The stainless steel sensing pole is mounted flush to the plastic sensing face, facilitating easier air gap adjustment and preventing snagging with moving targets. The sensor offers two output types: an NPN Open Collector transistor output which provides negative going current sinking output and is current limited to 40 mA, and a transistor emitter-follower output providing positive 5V pulses capable of sourcing 20 mA load current.

The LMPC0000 is epoxy encapsulated, making it resistant to oil and dirt while the built-in pulse shaping amplifier grants it excellent noise immunity along with a frequency response up to 10 KHz. It is especially suited to detect steel gears and other moving ferrous components efficiently.

The product is supplied with either an integrally potted cable with neoprene strain relief boot or a polarized 3-pin 5/8"-24 threaded connector, providing quick-change versatility. Certified to CSA and UL standards and manufactured in the United States, the device meets stringent quality and safety requirements.
