Nordic Semiconductor NRF24L01P-T is a highly integrated single-chip 2.4GHz ISM-band RF transceiver IC housed in a compact 20-pin QFN package measuring 4 mm x 4 mm with a height of 0.9 mm. It supports low intermediate frequency (Low IF) transceiver technology delivering efficient, low power wireless communication.
The transceiver operates over a frequency range of 2.400 to 2.4835GHz with 126 selectable channels, enabling flexible deployment in various radio environments. It achieves a maximum over-the-air data rate of 2 Mbps using Gaussian Frequency-Shift Keying (GFSK) modulation optimized for robust data transmission.
Integrated features include the Enhanced ShockBurst™ protocol engine, which manages packet communication autonomously or manually. The hardware supports dynamic payload lengths between 1 and 32 bytes, auto acknowledgment and retransmission of packets, and MultiCeiver™ functionality allowing connectivity with up to six data pipes facilitating star network configurations.
