Maxim Integrated MAX7408 5th-Order Low Pass Active Filter is a precision switched capacitor filter designed for low-power, high accuracy filtering applications. Operating from a single 5V supply, it provides a sharp elliptic lowpass response with a cut-off frequency up to 15kHz. The device draws only 1.2mA in normal operation and can be placed into a low power shutdown mode consuming 0.2μA.
The 5th order elliptic filter topology ensures steep rolloff and substantial stopband rejection of 53dB, making it ideal for noise-sensitive applications such as ADC anti-aliasing and post-DAC filtering.
