MEAN WELL RCP-1000-12 switching power supply is a high-performance, rack mount front end power supply delivering 12 volts DC output with a maximum power of 720 watts and 60 amperes output current. Designed for demanding applications, it supports a wide AC input voltage range from 90V AC up to 370V DC enabling universal compatibility.
The unit fits standard 19 inch racks with a slim 1U form factor and provides excellent efficiency of 81% to minimize energy waste. It incorporates built-in active power factor correction (PFC) to enhance power quality with a power factor greater than 0.96.
Robust protections against short circuit, overload, over voltage, and over temperature are built-in to ensure system safety and reliability. Remote sense functionality compensates for voltage drops, while remote control and hot-swap capabilities allow easy system integration and maintenance.
The power supply is cooled by a built-in DC fan with speed control for efficient thermal management across a wide operating temperature range of -20°C to 60°C. It meets an extensive range of international safety and EMC standards including UL 62368-1, IEC 60950-1, TUV EN60950-1, and others, making it suitable for use in industrial, laboratory, commercial, HVAC, and manufacturing environments.
