Product Description
TE Connectivity 329860 Termi-Foil Splice Connector 14 AWG is a high-performance uninsulated splice connector designed for crimp termination applications in electrical and electronic components.
This product is engineered to accommodate aluminium foil or strip thickness ranging from 0.03 to 2.41 mm as well as soft copper wires up to 0.025 mm. Its unique lances penetrate surface oxides and insulation to create a secure and moisture-proof connection when clamped, ensuring no noise injection in low-level audio circuits.
Typical applications include manufacturing of transformers, capacitors, reactors, solenoids, relays, regulators, heating elements, electrostatic shields, and alarm systems. It enables terminals to tap or splice aluminium foil-wound coils and multiple foil pieces or strips.
The contact length is 17.06 mm and overall length 11 mm, with crimp termination type for reliable electrical joints. The connector is RoHS compliant and originates from the United States.
