Schneider Electric S3DEX PanelSeT Series Steel Wall Box S3DEX is a heavy duty steel electrical enclosure with external dimensions of 400 mm height, 400 mm width, and 200 mm depth. This wall-mounted enclosure features a high ingress protection rating of IP66, making it fully dust tight and capable of withstanding powerful water jets, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use in demanding environments.

The enclosure is certified under ATEX II2 and II3 hazardous area classifications, supporting safe operation in zones with potential explosive atmospheres containing flammable gas or dust. It complies with multiple global standards such as RoHS, DNV, BV, IEC 62208, REACH, LR, UL, and cUL, ensuring adherence to quality, environmental safety, and international acceptance.

Body construction uses a one-piece folded and welded steel body with a double plate thickness gutter-shaped profile on the front face. The enclosure includes a plain front face door with a 3 mm double-bar quarter turn lock for secure closure, cable gland plate for optimized wiring entries, and four shouldered M8x25 backstuds with crimped blind nuts for mounting.

The product incorporates an IK10 rating for mechanical impact resistance, protecting against impacts from a 5 kg object dropped from 20 cm. It is colored grey and designed for panel internal mounting. Additionally, a fixing kit is supplied to facilitate secure installation.
