Product Description

Gems Sensors 020-3499 FS-550E Series paddle flow sensor is designed for liquid flow monitoring with a precise range from 15L/min up to 125L/min. The sensor detects flow in both directions and enables flow/no-flow condition monitoring by pivoting its paddle out of the liquid path as flow increases, resulting in minimal pressure drop under 0.2 bar regardless of pipe size.

Constructed with a robust stainless steel housing and equipped with a terminal box electrical connection, this flow sensor is IP65 rated providing excellent protection against environmental factors. It supports a 1 inch BSP connection suitable for common pipe diameters and operates reliably up to a maximum pressure of 55 bar.

The FS-550E series is engineered for industrial and commercial applications requiring accurate liquid flow detection, including use in compressors, heat exchangers, turbines, engines, boilers, chillers, valves, pumps, and regulators. Its paddle can be trimmed during installation to set the desired switch actuation at specific flow rates. The product supports a maximum media temperature of 100°C and a supply voltage up to 250 V with a current rating of 500 mA.
